Honey Bees: We no loner actively raise Bees
With the help of a Master Beekeeping friend, we have added some hives to our place. As many of you have possibly heard, the Honey Bees are in grave danger in our world today. They are the pollinators and are responsible for many of the foods we enjoy eating everyday. When I grew up, it seemed bees were everywhere. They came to your picnics and buzzed around in your flower garden. I could not figure out why I never saw any bees at our place. We garden and have many flowering trees and plants. The main plant I knew we had for them was white clover, and yet there wasn't a bee anywhere? This is how I began my search to learn about bees.
